Aira Force-High Force-Dockray
Dull start to the day soon brightened after a small shower.
We had never been above Aira Force so today we climbed past Aira Force and walked on to High Force(not much water coming down today) then on to Dockray.In between High Force and Dockray a small permissive path branched of right to Gowbarrow Park so although unplanned we climbed to the top to take in views of Glenridding ,Striding Edge and Helvellyn previously hidden from view.
Rejoining our original path we walked on to Dockray walked back down the road to a path which picked up the Aira Beck.
The decent is via a path which returns you to the car park on the opposite side of the beck
