Coniston--Park o Mor--Brantwood
We were the only people aboard the early boat to Park O Mor.Weather was overcast and threatning.However it only rained once during this walk and then only for 5 min.The walk up to the top of the fell from the jetty was very straight forward with views opening up behind us with every step.
Once at the top of the fell however the views across Coniston towards the Old Man and Dow Crag were simply stunning.
The map however left something to be desired as many of the trees shown had been cut down.
We arrived at Brantwood in time for the 13:10 native motor launch back to Coniston and lunch at the Bluebird Cafe.
